News and Articles
Prestigious certifications underscore TiMOTION’s proven ability to deliver quality management systems, meet environmental management standards, and advance the company’s core values
TiMOTION, Inc., a global supplier of electric linear actuators and related accessories, has sought – and achieved – International Organization for Standards (ISO) ISO 14001:2015 certification. By meeting the comprehensive metrics set for these standards, TiMOTION asserts its ability to meet the rising demands of environmental management and affirms the importance of universally recognizing applicable laws and regulations.
Steven Tseng, Managing Director, TiMOTION, said, “TiMOTION is committed to providing our customers with products that meet a high standard of innovation, performance, and environmental safety. As a leading medical and ergonomic manufacturer and system provider, TiMOTION’s adherence to the ISO guidelines is vital and represents the company’s fidelity to the pursuit of environmental improvement and sustainable development for our global community.”
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS) that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001 is the most widely used EMS globally, with over 360,000 ISO 14001 certificates issued in 171 countries worldwide. The ISO 14000 is a family of standards, including the ISO 14001:2015, that exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and continually improve an organization’s environmental footprint.
TiMOTION also retains its ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. As the most popular of the ISO 9000 series, the ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS), which can be applied to any organization regardless of industry, product or service, or company size. The ISO 13485 sets out internationally agreed requirements for QMS specific to medical devices' safety and efficacy.
By meeting the ISO’s precise best practices criteria, the company reaffirms its commitment to its customers while advancing TiMOTION’s mission, vision, and core values of Trust, A Culture of Continuous Dialog, and Passion.
“As an intelligent electric motion system and integration service provider, TiMOTION’s commitment is to create incomparable values by providing solutions that meet different needs across every industry,” Tseng added.
TiMOTION would like to extend its gratitude to its customers and partners who have contributed to its success and growth.
